It's been some time since I heard good vocals.

I'm obsessed with the latest mini album, Voice of Autumn, by 4MEN, a Korean group consisting of 3 guys now who are not new on the scene. To be exact, it's just 1 song on the album titled Tok Tok Tok.

The song in hangul is 똑똑똑 which romanized is 'tok tok tok' which is the sound for knocking in Korean. After I had looked up the Korean alphabet to romanize the title and search the translation of the title on google, it made no sense until I came across a comment in a Youtube video. The single consists of instrumental tracks too but the name only has (MR) which was an acronym I've not come across. Of course filled with curiosity, I had to google it. :P Turns out, it stands for Music Recorded which is essentially no vocals. Thanks to the netizens who were bored and decided to create MR removed videos of Korean singers and groups, I now know what MR stands for.

Anyway, the song is a nice R&B song with good vocals! I love the Music Recorded (i.e. no vocals) version too which is rare. I usually can't be bothered with the instrumental tracks. It's been too long since I've heard good vocals so I decided to try making an a capella version of the song. Lucky, it turned out about 95% successful. You can still hear a very faint drum beat but after looping the song a couple of times, you probably won't notice it.

Do give the song a try! Download the entire mini album at music_envy HERE. A capella version fanmade by me is below. (^^)
