Tsk, Tsk, Self...
It's been a while, guys, and for that I apologize. I know that when I started this I said I would update at least twice a week, and yet I haven't kept that promise. The truth of it is that I've had very little time to even think about LJ, and every time I do think of it I can't dredge up the energy to form coherent sentences. I'm going to attempt to sum up the last few weeks.
I wrote an essay for a scholarship that I'm desperately hoping is worth a lot of money. I went to see Saw 3D. My recommendation? Don't waste your money on it. I lost my flash drive that had my fifty-two page three hundred-point project on it, so now I have to write a five page literary analysis on Madame Bovary. Suggestions, anyone? Speaking of AP, we've been reading Medea. That's... interesting. We're also supposed to be reading Frankenstein. I'm hoping that that will be better than everything else we've read. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much. I've got another essay for English. The teacher has said that, if we had them, we could use our essays from previous years. The problem is: I haven't EVER done this essay. Despite having been assigned it for the third year in a row. Oh, lazy past-self, what am I going to do with you? Yesterday, I went to the dentist. I got a humongous cavity filled. Hopefully, I'll be clear of a root canal when I go back. Anyway, that means I have been in a bit of pain today, so I haven't been the most pleasant person to be around. Today is my mom's birthday. One of her presents was a glass unicorn with a purple mane and tail. I told her to name him Agatone, in honor of Apollo's favorite purple unicorn out of his favorite flock of flying, telepathic, pacifist unicorns. I'll tell you about that tomorrow, since I'm out of school for Veterans' Day. Also, if you are/know someone in the military, you/they have my unending appreciation. Pass on the love.
