Miss Kalifornia: Part Twp

May 06, 2009 11:40

So it should come as no surprise, Miss Kalifornia at some point in her teens ( seeing as how that was two seconds ago let's not dwell on that) that feature her topless and in something lacy.

These were taken before her run for Miss Kalifornia. And, while tamer than tame, they likely violate the morality clauses she signed to before being a beauty contestant and martyr for marriage.

What to think? Well, this young woman who is not using whatever brains she has, is so like the rest of the morality brigade. While trying to appear as a tolerant preacher of intolerance, she's got enough skeletons in her closet to start her own medical supply company.

I'm honestly torn about the possible loss of her Kali crown. I mean, she didn't live up to the terms she agreed to. But shouln't we have compassion for the dim and opportunistic? Even if they lack it for others?

And to be honest, morality clauses for a competition with a swimsuit competition? That allows breast augmentation in competitors?

In the end, I just go back to the sadness of it all. This young woman clutching at opportunities to advance herself digs herself deeper and deeper. The intolerant dig deeper and deeper into delusions of victimhood. And good people tryingqs to live a life of mutually nurturing love are trying to dig themselves into the light.

Vanessa Williams, time for an intervention for a peer. The rest of us just keep shaking our heads and voting for a better tommorrow.
