8.4 Let the Woohoo Begin
Week 8 - Suffolk
The Suffolk family consists of
Susanne Suffolk, Popularity adult, LTW 20 best friends. She works in the Military career as a Senior Officer
Anton Suffolk, Popularity elder, LTW own 5 top businesses, owns the grocery store Walfridssons Kolonial, level 7, and the restaurant Suffolk Saloon, level 3.
Elaine Suffolk, Romance teen, LTW woohoo 20 sims. She works as a waitress at Diana’s restaurant 2 Friends.
Big sister Chloe moved out last week and will start her own life on a different lot.
The week starts off with a promotion. Susanne gets promoted to Commander, and brings Regis Boston with her home.
Elaine, on the verge of adulthood, romances her boyfriend Michael as usual. She wants to woohoo 20 different sims in her life, who I don’t understand where she’ll find.
I guess she won Michael over though.
Elaine! That’s totally inappropriate pre-woohoo talk! Elaine and Michael seem to be equally impressed by Susanne’s acheivements, but anyway!
However, the distraction seems to have been too large, and there was no woohoo. Our precious Elaine is still a virgin.
In the meantime, Anton earns a plaque in Music&Dance. It’s fantastic to hear the audience cheering when a Music sim zones, did you ever notice that?
Susanne experiences a setback in her job. Her general didn’t appreciate that she showed mercy on some wrong-doers. She got a fine for 10.000§, which the family don’t have, and she got demoted to Senior Officer. Still, she had a good week. I guess it’s because she doesn’t have a career related LTW.
Tonight Susanne will become an elder. She has a wish to sell a masterpiece before that, so she’s painting frantically. Since he doesn’t get any attention, Anton spends some time with his latest mastered hobby. The family is also sick, so no guests for these Popularity sims!
She doesn’t quite make it with the painting, but she still grows up well. However, an emergency visit to Ekte Norsk is necessary!
First, Anton gets well and gets back to his grocery store, which reaches level 7.
But then there’s drama! Bloomy comes sailing into the store and makes out with Tobias Norman (bad husband!). It makes Anton go ballistic, since Bloomy has taken advantage of him too before. (He’s a bad husband too...) With the habits Bloomy has, I’m sure we’ll see more scenes like this in the future!
Back home, the autumn rains has started, and Susanne gets back to the position as Commander, even though she got a fine for 20.000§ that the family doesn’t have.
And then it’s time for Elaine’s birthday finally! She will stay in this house, since she’s the youngest kid.
Well, that was a fitting dress for a romancer! With Elaine, her boyfriend Michael grows up, too. It’s however his clone Gabriel, Elaine’s sister Chloe’s boyfriend, we see in this picture.
Now when she’s an adult, let the woohoo begin!
No 1 - Michael, not unexpected, really.
Elaine comes home from her first full day of work, completely worked out. It doesn’t stop her from asking Taavetti on a homedate and fall in love with him, though.
Michael seems to sense what’s going on and comes by to flirt with Elaine autonomously. This can be bad news!
She tries to send Michael on his way before Taavetti is back from the bathroom, where he throws up all the time since he’s got food poisoning, but she doesn’t really make it.
Apparently Taavetti couldn’t care less!
No 2 - Taavetti. I really need to find that unpixelating hack… (Tips in the comments, please :))
The next day it’s time for Susanne’s next promotion, to Astronaut.
Elaine's next victim is Cristopher, but he plays hard to get all of a sudden. Don’t pretend Cristopher, you’re the easiest sim in Birka! Maybe except Ludde...
Later, he still agrees to go to bed with her. Weird sims. No 3 - Cristopher
Just to show you that there actually is time passing between Elaine's conquers, we go back to Walfridsson's Kolonial.
Anton gets a pleasant surprise when the review reporter comes to his store. He says he’s going to write a good review and Anton receives the Best of the Best award!
Elaine works on her next victim, Gustav Ottosson-Bixo, three-bolter. He’s a bit sensitive about being grabbed or kissed, but tight dancing is ok.
Cristopher comes by uninvited in the middle of Elaine’s date with Gustav, to use the Suffolk computer. He gets really upset. Too bad for you, mister, you are yesterday’s news!
Today, Elaine wants to get married to Michael and Taavetti but not get married to Taavetti, Gustav or Michael.
My dear Elaine, you think too much about marriage - you’re destined to be a man eater!
After several dates, Elaine gets Gustav Ottosson-Bixo to get into bed with her. He seems to be very shy.
But he writes cute letters!
And we end this week with some pictures from Suffolk Saloon. Anton went there a couple of times this week, but it’s only business as usual.
However, on Sunday afternoon, Anton made over the menu and raised the prices, and all of a sudden we have level 4! It's extremely difficult to get some profit from a restaurant. I never see the customers pay anything - any views or comments from the audience on that?
Then disaster strikes. It’s Anton’s own fault, trying to cook lobster for himself on the restaurant stove. Priya, his head chef, is panicking, and so does Anton, trapped behind a chair in the personnel area. Luckily he’s got his cell phone to call for the fire department. Anton, why didn’t you install a fire alarm when you opened this place?!
Brave firefighter Wilma to the rescue! Priya can breath calmly again. And since the kitchen is locked to the public, no one lost any loyalty stars. They never noticed what happened.
And before Anton leaves for the day, a fire alarm is installed.
