Week 3 - Tracy Maine
We start with the, hopefully, good news that Tracy is expecting.
The Father-to-be sleeps innocently in his bed, but we know what he did at the Norman house!
After paying the weekly tax of 518§, the young couple hasn't even a chair to sit on. This is not good for an expecting woman.
Nero is running the Maine House now when Tracy is expecting. Magnus gives the business a loyalty star and pushes it over the edge to level 1. Nero chooses the LeTourneau cash price to make some improvments to the establishment.
Wednesday: Brittany Maine is born on Wednesday evening. She’s got the eyes and hair of her mother and skin of her father.
Babies seem to have a certain attraction on Maria. Now she’s here, cuddling Brittany. Maybe she wishes she could have a baby of her own. Sorry, girl, not as long as you’re married to a woman!
Tracy is soon back at the Maine house, after the birth of her daughter. She’s free styling for tips. It’s more profitable than selling tickets to the house, for sure!
Thursday: When Tracy comes home, it’s time for Brittany’s birthday. She turns out to be a Libra without extreme personal traits.
Saturday: Mother and daughter skilling together. Nero had a good enough aspiration to give Brittany smart milk.
Unfortunately Brittany fell out of platinum aspiration while she was held to blow out the candles, but grew up well. I don’t know which parent she looks the most like, but she actually looks different from many other sim kids. That’s a good thing, we might recognize her during the years to come.
Week 3 - Susanne Suffolk
The week starts off on a happy note. Susanne gets promoted to Drill Instructor, and the tax of 700§ is already paid. Time for a party!
Nero and Celeste continue to be all over each other during parties. Tracy is never present.
Tuesday: Susanne might have met her soul mate. Her and Anton, one of the suddenly many spawned adults, entertain themselves with synchronous cup juggling.
At least they end up in bed together.
Wednesday: And it has consequences!
Friday: Another girl is born into this world. She looks a lot like Brittany, but gets the name Chloe.
And with the birth of his daughter, Anton Walfridsson moves in, bringing 15.000§! He’s a Popularity Aries, and has to quit his job as a Party DJ. His LTW is to own 5 top-businesses.
No time like the present to start your pursuit for riches and popularity. We miss a grocery store in Birka, so that is what Anton will start.
The name of the store is “Walfridssons Kolonial”. Colonial merchandise is actually sugar, coffee, cocoa, etc, but I think it’s a good name for a general grocery store.
Small beginnings, but the prospective customers are coming to check the place out, even in the middle of the night.
Saturday: Anton wants to have a delicacy counter in his shop, for people to buy the food ready-made instead of only buying the actual groceries, so he’s working on filling his inventory during daytime, while Susanne’s at work. Tonight he will go back to the shop.
Sunday: Susanne gets promoted to Junior Officer, and celebrates with a party, as usual. Anton is a great stay-at-home dad, taking good care of Chloe
The party is going great, and we see from Nero’s thought bubble that Celeste’s here somewhere. Time passes quickly, and the promotion party is soon continuing to be a birthday party for Chloe
Chloe turns out to be an extremely outgoing Aries. Luckily she’s also quite nice.
And we end the week at the Suffolk household with a picture of a glowing toddler with a new haircut. I got bored with everyone looking the same.
