hmm an update. odd idea really. still we shall see how it goes.
Well biggest change - I bought a new laptop. yes after complaining putting up with and generally swaring at my old one for around five years I went and replaced it. Tis all new and awesome, and has mearly one major failing, the harware seems to not have any xp drivers meaning that the first thing i did when i got it had to be undone again by reinstalling vista.
Some may remember many many months ago i orderd the statue arts of lenneth from valkerie profile. this was a maor purchess (of around £300) from ian's books and comics. now i have been understanding in the time it has been taking and actually gave the full amount to ian over the course of teh months. and not that long ago, it failked to show up, three times. now i would like to point out this is not ian's fault but the fault of the supplyer in the USA. as such it was decided that the money would be returned in full and the whole thing called off. so i set out into portsmouth with £300 in my wallet. this was lsightly silly of me as i then proceeded to spend it. admitedly on quiet a few things that needed to be bought (new laptop backpack for exampleor putting some extra money aside to go towards paying my mum back.) but also a lot was spent on silly little things, guitare hero 3 for example, or saints row 2, entirly too many transforming marbles (don't ask) and quite possibly the find of the month, a second glance in the cash converters window revieled a copy of zero wing for the mega drive, origin of "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US" now for three pounds, can't really say no to that.
i havent really been up to that much recently, a couple of drawings over christmass (mums cat seemed to like waiting till i was about to start inking then wander over, stand on my pad and inspect the drawing (anyone would think he was an art critic). but the vast majority of my free time recently has been spent writing (you wont see any real improvment in my spelling tho). originaly i planned a short 4 part story of about two pages a go. what i seem to have produced is a five part minibook, currently at 35 pages with nearly 17000 words, thats almost double the length of my final year dissertation. something tells me i may of gotten carried away on this.
