hmmm random lightsaber stuff
As title says this will just be a recount of random event of lightsaber stuff.
if you rae not aware of the fact that my self and a few others have aquired a numbeer of master replica lightsabers:
a few months ago i discovered that play.com stocked lightsabers, of the polycarbon blade varity, and quickly set about aquireing one or two of the very fun toy swords. these were consiquently taken down to the common and bashed about in extended fights at midnight with friends too great amusment and all was well. As combat proceeded for a few weeks (every so often not non stop :P ) we started to notice the tell tale signs of battle in the blades,a few dimed or darkned spots as LEDs went due to impact damage.b by now there was quite a respesctable armory (or laughable depeneding on your oppion of the whole affair) including : darth vader(x2) , Luke (blue), customizable (x2), darth maul (x3), mace windu (x2) and yes this is between 5 people not just me. when tradgerdy struk (or rather bad jokes and an oppotunity) one of the vaders stopped working, well only lit halfway up the blade.
as a result of this (being my vader that was broken)i comenced open saber surgury in an effot to repair. after a while ideas started popping into head, and modifications happened, gone was the hidiously irritating square switch replaces witha key switch, blade shortend to half length, much soldering was done and in the end (much to my supprise, the mods and repairs were finished and they worked! so i now have a chibi vader, that only i can use :P tho im still yet to give it a combat run
