(no subject)
So I have some minor down time. The clothes are in the wash and so are the dishes, and it appears that the entire internet is being DDoSed. 4chan, the sites I'm applying to, areas of craigslist and livejournal, wordpress, parts of google, etc.. So, I'm giving the DB Admins time by eating lunch and posting on LJ while I wait for chores to arrive and job search engines to come back up.
If I meet my quota today, that will 60+ jobs I've applied for in the last 2 weeks. Hopefully someone will respond this week with atleast an interview. I got bad news from a coin wrap company saying I didn't have the necessary experience they needed to wrap coins up.
I put a post up on craigslist looking for nerd friends. Hopefully that will work out. I've got one new friend so far. I'm hoping I can atleast get enough for a D&D game or something. That would be nice. I get so lonely during the day being here by myself. Add in I don't know anyone here in B-more and it can be depressing. I just hope I get over this hump. I'm doing all I can, it feels very overwhelming.
