So I'm here in B-more finally. The big move is over though the house is still a mess. Most things have been taken care of which is good. We still have no internet though since we need a cable line put into our house thus we're stealing internet from open wifi networks or going to a local coffee shop. So I've got to try and get in touch with our landlord because Comcast up here wants to drill a hole in the wall.
The place is nice. It seems very homely. I hope all of my 2 friends will come visit me.
I applied for work at GW. Now I'm waiting to hear from them. They said they'd call back this week, so I'm hopeful.
I was thinking that since I've got my Baldur's Gate mod file back (*SQUEEE!*), I might apply for a level designer at Bethesda or Firaxis--since I've got a sort-of body of work to back me. I'm also applying for Bartender positions until I get something permanent.
Baltimore reminds me of Dusseldorf--overcast, cold, and densely populated. It's nice here.
As a random thought, I've seriously been considering opening a bar-diner/gamestore. I'd open it near the harbor and call it the Weaselly Whale. It'd be like a normal bar-eatery place, except it'd have space for gaming, and have a geeky tackiness to it. If anyone knows much about opening a small business like a restaurant and getting initial capital for it, contact me if you'd like to educate me.
