Public Service Announcement
I'm just going to get this out there so that it hopefully won't be a problem this summer.
1. I am not in love with Barry, I do not have a crush on Barry, I am not getting over Barry. It's been over between us and for us for a long time.
2. I am not mad at Shelley, Nora, or whoever else because of Barry; please do not assume that I am. If two people find each other, more power to them.
3. I have no problem hearing stories with Barry in them if they are funny/interesting. However, do not tell me pointless stories just because he's in them and we used to date. Don't look at me after your pointless story as if waiting for me to cry or pull my hair out or something.
4. Just because you haven't seen me with or heard of me being with with someone else does not mean that I'm not over him.
5. I hope that people don't feel that they have to choose between being his friend or mine. The last time I was at WJ, his friends or the people around him, who used to be close to me, gave me the cold shoulder. If you don't like me for me, that's fine, go with that. However, us breaking up almost a year ago does not merit the loss of friendships.
6. Joint social situations are fine by me.
7. I couldn't end with number six because ever since I was a child I have had an irrational hatred of that number.
In other news, the Eels are playing at the 9:30 club, and I've filled out eight job applications so far. I need a job. Someone give me a job!
