Layout and LS drama and LOL@Ere
After seeing Ereblog's new layout I thought to make mine a bit more eye appealing. I like purple and I am in the free membership bracket lol so the choices were limited but I like this one well enough :P
LS drama...again! and I have to get in the middle of it, sorry, cant help it. I put my opinions out there quite often. But they are MY opinion only and like the old saying goes "Opinions are like ass holes, every one has one."
This time Jojoe actually started the thread. About Einherjar. I know he is disappointed in the inconsistent turnout for Einherjar runs. I know he is upset over the lack of wins. But as I have stated before, Einherjar isn't my favorite thing to do. It doesn't even rank in the top 10. Sunday runs suddenly became mandatory and I started attending. But now, with spring in the air and summer otw, getting on the game for a 3pm run doesn't appeal to me much. Wednesday is at 9pm est...my Lost TV show time slot :(
Yes I could record it or watch it on abc.com but its been a 4 1/2 yr tradition of watching with my youngest son (a Lost fanatic!) and I don't care to change that. The season is almost over...I'll attend Einherjar regularly then (if its still going o.o; Jojoe is THAT irritated).
My view is that the LS is in a rut, doing the same ole same ole and events are geared towards a few peoples wishes/wants. Yes, I signed up in AncientsXI (Sylph) to do their events but Einherjar wasn't mandatory then. Sky, Dynamis, farming sea and sky were mandatory. NP.
Personally I would like to see more mandatory events. But a more variety of events also.
2 Dyna a week (since the majority likes)
1 Einherjar
1 Limbus
1 ZNM
1 sky gods
1 farming run (sea or sky or SCNM)
1 gil maker (ks99, ANNM, SCNM, etc)
If people want more say, Limbus, theres a few areas can be low manned so an impromptu group can do it so as not to interfere with the scheduled run. Or ZNM, small groups can do the lower tiers. Additional farming can be done impromptu. and give AXIP to the ones that do the impromptu events too. People get AXIP for farming a Hagun for pete's sake, why not for farming boxes or ZNM pops? (That still irritates me to no end, the farming a Hagun ENM that gets AXIP. People say they are farming for a 'cloud evoker' but we have yet to see one drop. Yet they are racking up points for farming a 3mil gil item.)
BTW Ere...LMAO on saying I spend alot of time getting worked up over things. I find that extremely funny! <3 I do get worked up occasionally but I'm usually over it just as fast. (Altho I do hold a few grudges...like against Vor for his pissy attitude on top of telling me he is ignoring my request to have slow removed when I was tanking). I don't take senseless deaths well. I don't take idiots well.That's part of the reason I don't meripo. There are idiots galore on FFXI and if they cause me to die and lose experience needlessly I get irked. :P (campaign doesn't count, you don't lose experience...but I still maintain I am NOT cowardly by choosing to run away and fight longer vs stay put and die fast! heh)
