Ho hum
I wish I didn't dread getting on the game some days...Sundays for instance. I dislike Einherjar. I don't think it should be mandatory on Sundays. Let it be mandatory on Wed nights but leave me my weekend. I guess I want the Ritter gorget from there when I get enough ampoules...it IS better than the Harmonica's torque. I have somewhere around 10k amps, need 5k more. The Morgana's choker wouldn't be bad for my RDM. The Iota ring could replace the Ulthalam's ring...maybe...nah. lol
But the lag is so bad in Einherjar that just as I target the next mob and get to it, its dead already lol No fun!
So I don't log onto the game til roughly 6pm and they are in sky! wow! We hadn't done sky in a LOOOONG time! So I /tell Jojoe and see if its even worth my time to come. He says they are doing 2 Byakko so ya, if I hurry. I grab a bit of enmity gear and head up.
The first Byakko went pretty smooth. I was outside the alliance but get pulled in when Lehant dies. Nothing to do but voke a few time jic Keep dies but he doesnt and Byakko goes down. No pants. boo
The 2nd Byakko doesnt go too well. Keep dies almost instantly! O.o Lehant next. Byakko is running all over killing people. I am pulled into the alliance unprepared dammit lol It happened so fast! So I voke and toss on shadows. I activate my High Breath mantle and then activate my Naruko earring (+10 enmity is a quick hate grabber). I am dead before the earring finishes LOL BAD KITTY!
They pull it together tho and kill it. It drops Byakko haidate! whoohoo gratz Ere!!
A few things I would do differently: I would have the items on and activated (cept earring-- it only lasts 2-3 mins) even if its wasted by me not going in. I would ask for buffs, again even if wasted. I would REMEMBER MY EARTH STAFF!!
***I can't wait till my token comes in! Activate for the Mog satchel and then I could carry all that I need and not worry about forgetting something important. It might come today ^^
After sky I tried to get some interest in ANNM. 3 people were interested :( Lehant mentioned they were going to do some La Vaule box NMs. I think he got 3 people interested too...shame.
So the rest of the evening I spent farming in the past. Giant bird feathers for Icarus wings. I watched for the lynx NM too that drops the Thunderer's mantle but it got claimed right under my nose :( boo to you sneaky thf!
I find it kind of strange that I had a better drop rate on giant bird feathers as /dnc than I did as /thf...the other day while farming them I got a total of 2 as /thf and was not able to steal any. As /dnc I got almost 2 stacks....
