Geography Lover
So Kerian got off with just a talk and a warning, but I really don't care what happens to him, I just want to get away from it all. He pretends not to care either, but has been able to talk about nothing else...its very funny to watch! He came to the pub crawl last night, but I avoided him as much as possible. It was a good night though! very funny, as i was in the middle of a group of 5 people who couldn't walk straight!
Today I had a great day. I realised just how much I love geography, and how glad I am that I chose the subject. The lectiures were really interesting, and I got excited by the prospect of doing stats on hydrology in one of them...I love that geography encorporates so many different subjects and gives them all a relevance, rather than just doing the excersizes for the sake of it. I spent the afternoon on a self guided walking tour of the Kings Cross area, which was also very exciting, seeing how London's past has turned it into what it is today.
I really am a bit of a loser! I don't care, if I wasn't enthusiastic about it there'd be no point in doing it!
Tonight I am goin to watch a UCL production of 'Treasure Island', which Clare and Nicola are crewing and another geography friend, Sonia, is acting in. Should be good...I'll probrably post again when I get back...
