This past week has gone by rather smoothly. Ingrid is on the mend. Though she insites on getting the demon head stuff and has put it in her room. I think it's a little gross, but if Irene can deal with it it's her roomate. Penn as proud as a peacock about Ingrid slaying talents. Or at least he was crowing about it and I must not have had a

So, whats up?

Um, not really. I mean, I think he wants to, but I could be reading things wrong. I don't, I've never really dated anyone this long or gotten to this point before.
He just kind of asked if maybe I'd want to go away for the weekend with him, and that's usually what that kind of thing means, isn't it?

If this is what you want and you believe that you're ready then maybe you should talk to him, make sure you are both on the same page. I know it sounds like a horribly embarrassing conversation to have but trust me if you arent ready to talk to him about it openly, then you might not be ready at all. Once you guys talk about it I'm certain everything else will just fall into place from there.

I can barely talk about it with you and you're my sister.

You are not inadequate, just haven't had a lot of experience with this stuff. Eventually the embarrassment will wear off. Especially if Aidan makes you feel comfortable. I'm sure he'll make talking about it all, less awkward.

He said maybe it was about time we all moved away and lived our own lives, anyway. I worry about him, Isabella. I know he didn't like to be fussed over, but he is our Dad and I don't want him to be lonely.

I know you worry about him, Irene. But Daddys a big boy, he'll find ways to keep himself occupied. And he's right in a way, it's time for you guys to start living your own lives.

Maybe he'll find someone, now that we're not around the house all the time.

Maybe he will. Though it would require him staying in one place for more than a few months. He'll be fine. You took care of him really well, Irene. But really, it's time for him to take care of himself.
