That is so weird. It's not that the baby is not important enough to deserve that kind of attention (although yes I do think she's pretty unimportant) but what parents would want a siicone replica of their baby in display for the whole world to see?! I wouldn't. And if I were the baby I'd hate it. I think it's very selfish and stupid for famous people to use their children to attract publicity and attention. I'm sure there are many more talented actors/actresses who deserve to be immortalised in wax and now it seems even celebrities' CHILDREN should be getting attention like this. Dear god if all of Hollywood's famous couples had their kids turned into a wax image the Madame Tussaud would be full to the brim. Examples like this, and people who want to broadcast their giving birth on the internet.... are all so sad. I don't like kids, but I do think babies and really young children should be shielded from the press no matter how famous their parents are and now Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are trying to get the whole world's attention on their baby. No she is not "already an iconic figure in world popular culture", I've barely heard of her (I read about her being born) and can't see anything special about her to deserve being modelled in Madame Tussaud. It sounds weird but I almost feel sorry for children born to Hollywood couples... look at the lives of Michael Jackson, Tom Cruise and now Brad Pitt's children... with so much attention shoved up in their face I doubt they'll get to experience a normal childhood.
