Portugal vs England
Grrrrrrrr I hate people who called Italy/Portugal divers and cheats. T_T They've done no worse than any other country! And referees do penalize diving. NOW SHUT THE HELL UP.
Well done Portugal. I'm sick of England fans whining, and reading the comments on the BBC board makes me even sicker. Is this how England fans want to show themselves? A bunch of sore losers who can only bitch and shout racist comments at Portugal when they're out. I'm not putting down the England team; they played well, especially Hargreaves, who was the only guy to score a penalty whereas Wayne Rooney got his sorry ass whipped.
Rooney is an IDIOT. He's done nothing in the WC, not even scored a single goal. The best we've seen of him are his childish tantrums. The stamp on Carvalho, the shove on Ronaldo, bitching at the referee... he just doesn't know when to stop, but that red card should shut him up for good.
Cristiano Ronaldo - I wish people wouldn't use him as a scapegoat for England's defeat. England fans everywhere are calling him a cheat, a diver, etc but I haven't seen many examples of his diving, and even so England haven't been disadvantaged so where's the cheating? Everyone got their chances. And Ronaldo scored a good, solid goal in the penalty. If they want someone to blame, blame their own goalkeeper for his poor attempts to save goals or their own team for delivering weak penalties. Portuguese goalkeeper Ricardo practically saved them all.
To give a fair opinion, I think both teams played average. England did have some good moves, and Portugal wasn't exactly bad. If anyone deserves a pat on the shoulder, it's Ricardo. ;D
