Coming up for air

I'm right in the middle of school Finals crush, but I wanted to take a moment to post a fun project I just finished for my fashion history class:

The Barbie Project - I had to create a mash-up outfit for a barbie doll inspired by a specific artist and historical period. I choose the 1940's (pre-new look) and the artist Andrew Goldsworthy. The outfit is made from toilet paper rolls and tissue pattern paper I "Found" in my recycling bin. My favorite part is definitely the hat :)

Some background on Goldsworthy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Goldsworthy One of my favorite artists of all time. The documentary about his work is breathtakingly beautiful to watch. http://www.amazon.com/Andy-Goldsworthys-Rivers-Tides-Goldsworthy/dp/B0002JL9N6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1323403852&sr=8-3

...and now I should get back to my homework...
