Dawn Mock-up
I finished the Mock-up for the Dawn Jacket a while ago, I just forgot to post the pictures. We have a fitting set for this week before I move; fingers crossed Nothing big pops up because it would be really tricky to arrange a second in-person fitting. Also, had a fitting for the Naval uniform and my Sloper commission. Both went pretty well! I was working on the changes to the patterns last night when I ran out of tape and had to stop, Grrr! It's a trip to Walgreens for me today.
The shoulder straps are just drawn on for now, I didn't want to pattern them in case the shoulder seams need adjusting. During the fitting we are going to talk about all the studs and chains, and snaps etc. Also boot covers, because it is going to have matching boot covers I need to order the fabric for. We have decided on Dark green PVC for the jacket material.
Also, my camera broke the day after the photo-shoot (which was lucky) but now I have to get a new one if I want to take pictures of anything (Not so lucky) Grrr again!
