Gluten Free Pie Coma

For Christmas my parents bought me a mini pie making machine!!! I am super excited, because now I can make and eat all types of gluten-free, dairy-free fruit and pot pies for my school lunches. It is this specific machine here: http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/breville-pie-maker-bpi640xl/
Today I tried it out with x-mas left overs and the results were fairly good for a first try.

I made a batch of sweet pies. Strawberys (The frozen kind) cranberrys, walnuts, pineapple and brown sugar.

Savory Pies mixture is turkey, olives, gravy, and sun-dried tomatos.

The end result was tasty, but with room for improvement. (The meat pies are the ones with the hearts. The fruit have brown sugar on top, not as pretty sadly)
As is typical for gluten-free breads, the crust was very dense, for a sandwich this is ok, but in a pie it is a little over powering (The fruit pie more than the savory). So next time I need to work on the pie filling to crust ratio, or make the crust more flavored to the filling (Gluten-free breads are often more brittle, so making it thinner may not be an option).

Anyway, I ate two (One of each) and was extremely full in the best way :)

Also, Shortie Says HI give me PIE!!!
