Question for the wine drinkers on my flist

I'm thinking I want to try making mulled wine this year. It sounds yummy, and I've never done it.

Anyone have good recipes that you love/use and would like to share with the newbie? I'm very confused by the differences I'm finding on the internet, and would love some more personal recommendations.
