Hurrah, first post!

For a while, I was just using this as something to post on the Warcraft Sues community with. Then something struck me. I can spew out my opinions here! So, for a first post, a bit about me in gamer-friendly terms.

I'm lawful neutral. Rules are designed to be followed, and it's good to make an example of one person time to time to remind everyone of that. Not too often, or you get a revolt on your hands, but if you don't do it often enough, or stick to slaps on the wrists, the populace forgets why those rules are there to begin with.

I'm a hardcore roleplayer on World of Warcraft. I believe Blizzard should make lore-breaking grounds for a permanent ban from RP servers, ditto with chronic unbracketed OOC and RP griefing should be grounds for a permanent ban from the game. I believe that if you can't be assed to respect Blizzard's lore and characters, you don't deserve any respect in return. I believe those people deserve to be posted on the internet and ridiculed to the point that they quietly pay for a server change to a PvE or PvP server.

I support normal and hard mode raiding and think that anyone who whines about people wearing lesser versions of their gear need a fucking life. I also support a total segregation of PvP and PvE--I don't think changes to the PvE I enjoy should bone someone else's PvP and vice versa. I also refuse to participate in Wintergrasp activities, and quit the game for the duration of the zombie invasion event once griefers began exploiting the mechanics to harass anyone who had no interest in the event because I don't think I should be in a forced PvP environment on an RP-PvE server.

I think Garrosh is a retard and so is Varian. I think Blizzard needs to realize the solution to getting people to like unpopular characters is not to shove them down everyone's throats, but to look at why they're unpopular and find a feasible way for it to change. As such, I always roleplay my characters as belonging to neutral factions and hope to see a day where game mechanics won't shoehorn me into a storyline where I'm supposed to hate the biggest source of potential allies in an area where we have the same end goals.

I think Richard A. Knaak's computer should be hit with a sledgehammer until nothing is salvageable and his contract with Blizzard terminated.

I also enjoy 2e and 3.5e Dungeons and Dragons, Final Fantasy 1-6, 8, and 9, hate FF7 and Halo, and think One-Winged Angel is the most over-remixed generic pile of faux-Latin shit on the internet.
