okay well hooray i get home around 11:30 in the morning as sobriety
descends upon me.
had a lot of fun. changing your mindset can be totally unbelievable.
like add just a touch of 'mellow' and take away some 'paranoia' and
people, even relative strangers, can be so much fun.
great i sound like some sort of self help ad or something.
when i was going out earlier today i thought 'hey wow i could play
with some pomade'. i would like to subtitle this picture "pomade is
not a toy":
some time in the party i happened to be within arm's reach of
mouseesuom and she started drawing on my leg
as if she was marking her territory and shit and then
giving me directions to find what folder i put my porn in.
And I was like "..." and then there was this complex exchange that I
think I missed most of, but I think she offered me her boyfriend.
correct me if i'm wrong mouse... :)
but now i see it out of the corner of my eye and it's like i have
my menstrual blood running down my thighs (yeah it's my time of month
woo uh huh)
and matt burst a glowstick all over me which was totally
awesome for about the 10 seconds it took until i connected the smell
to the chemicals being rubbed into my skin.
so someone said something about getting like the whole planet in on
some mind-computer link, like a great big cybernetic orgy of the minds
or some shit. and that got my head really goin. like i've always
taken it for granted that if it can be done by one person with applied
technology and maths then i can probably pull it off. so like it's
obvious where the shit leading in the right direction is. the dude
with the like three-transistor circuits of subtle complexity of course
holds one piece of the key -- without such a comfort with complex
analog feedback systems and the like we clearly cannot make a natural
interface to the brain itself (even one way would be pretty awesome).
david brin's idea (?) of the neural network on the computer
side learning to interact with the human at the same time as the
neural networks on the human side are learning by the same mechanism
(hopefully, this could be a huge test of theory)...that is i think
another central piece, though his meme-virus spawned babble is taking
it a bit further than my personal interest. not that it won't happen,
mind you :) of course efforts with ubiquitous computing, all the
way from wearables/palmtops to that guy with the circuits implanted in
his arm, this will form the center of today's work in the subject.
*sigh* if i only had a lot of motivation and etc etc. but i was
seriously tempted to drop everything and just work on this problem for
a while.
tomorrow (tonight...it is after noon..blah) i am going to bake a pizza
if i remember, it will rule. it will have mozarella and cheddar and
green olives and pepperoni and maybe, just maybe, sliced up hotdog!
yeah! now that's an obtainable goal!
heh i got a keyring that says "drink till he's cute"
not that
pixiek15s needs the help :)
hooray i managed to not sound all analytical and shit
uh huh right.
that was a long one i hope all two of you out in reader-land are entertained
