I've loved the French phrase 'Quel dommage!' for a long time now. It means 'What a shame!' And 'dommage' is just a fun word to say. Especially in a loud and affected tone slightly reminiscent of the French guard from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. And especially repeatedly. *nods vigorously*

I used a lot of adverbs...

So in Western Civ. we're doing group projects on people from the Scientific Revolution and the Enlightenment, and my group got Voltaire and Montesquieu. We split it up between us, so two of us are doing one and two, the other, and I'm part of the Voltaire half! Which should be bien excitant.
