My basic understanding of politics.
Republicans: "It's my money, It is up to me and my family to spend it as we please."
Democrats: "Pool our money so we can provide for the country as a whole."
Republican America: "Where you can do whatever you want."
Democratic America: "Where you can become whoever you want."
Republicans: "It's my money, I've earned it and I don't have to pay for those who couldn't make their own."
Democrats: "Live together, die alone." (too far?)
Republicans: "If they weren't successful it's because of bad choices they made. They can lie in the bed they made."
Democrats: "If they weren't successful it's because of bad choices and little opportunity."
I'd much rather you tell me I'm wrong than agree with me. This just seems messed up.
