The world is broken

What has college taught me? WE ARE ALL SCREWED.
I payed a lot of money to understand that, and I dont feel I have been given the tools to help prevent it. I still feel like a very small person on this huge planet full of people, helpless and kind of alone.
I watch people everyday who in a way disgust me, I want to smack them and say wake up! We will not live like this forever, so start learning now how to recycle your starbucks cup. Sometimes I think I am the only one thinking about the future of the world, where I live and how our destruction affects everything. The only reason we do not see it here in the U.S. is because it is hidden from us under a veil of consumption. We dont see it on the news because someone owns the news companies, and if they reported the damage we were doing to the earth that same company who owns the news program might lose profit on something we dont even realize they own. Everything is owned by someone, and we have made a system where there are no ethics, there is only the idea of making more money and having more power. The average American thinks that the government will keep our destructive habits in control, but what they dont realize is the government is owned buy someone else, who again doesnt care about the people, all they care about is the what they can make from us.

I know it may sound wildly new and maybe even outlandish, but think logically about what you know in life and you will come to the conclusion that we are all owned in a way. Soon water will be privatized, WATER! IT WONT BE A RIGHT TO HAVE WATER. you will have to buy it. it will be like the oil. and you want to talk about wars, they will be rampant and they will be all out bloody attacks because no one can survive without water and we are sucking it up like there is not tomorrow. the reality is if we dont stop, there will not be many tomorrows left. We will die because of a natural disaster or we will be gone because of a lack of resources.

What happens if you cant afford water?
