Mexico hates me today
well i have to say that i am loving it here, but today sucks cuz next week i have finals, which means two tests and a 10 page paper in spanish due! UGG i know i will get it done, but im feel the strain. i cant find enough sources and im tired, cuz last night we went out salsa dancing which kind of turned out to be a bust, cuz there were sooooo many people that you couldnt even be on the dance floor and dance. soooo that sucked a little cuz we were out till 1 and then had to shower when we got home.... cuz bars are like smoking death traps, that is one thing i miss about washington, NO SMOKING IN PUBLIC PLACES. here people are age smoke so much, its definately a fad. so today i just needed to get my frustration out. next week i think i will go back and try to go dancing again and take Rodrigo this time, cuz at least there will be someone to dance with instead of creepy guys who grap your arm, as an invitation to dance, wait i mean a demand, its amazing here how much more agressive men are! and another thing, all police/security guards type people here carry around AK47, (atleast i think thats what they are) meaning a fucking huge ass gun. and its really intimidating to walk past them, so the other day i was at the mall and i went into this dept store, prolly like a macys in the states, and here this security guard standing by the shoe dept with his huge gun, and i asked Rodrigo, what is he gonna do shoot down mall shop lifters? good lord. its ridiculous. so its also not a good idea to climb the front of the houses here because the cops will shoot you. and yes its true you can bribe most cops, but if you piss them off they will make all kinds of shit up about you, like you were on drugs, u hit them or whatever it might be. I know a guy who was running down the road at 4am with out a shirt on and the cops stopped him. and they jacked his cell and all of his money. things can be different here. whats nice for me is that i am not blond. if i was i would go nuts cuz guys will not leave blond girls alone. i am usually pretty ignored, which makes me happy, but when i go out with my roomate here, Erin people wont leave her alone cuz she is blond and light skined. its terrible sometimes. i get kind of irritated about it. well i guess i will end this slightly long rant... well half rant half interesting info... right? well hope everyone is well.
