I can't sleep
...which lead to me poking around the internet a little and discovering that, in fact, Arashi will be doing the theme for Ryuusei no Kizuna D: Which is not unexpected nor the worst possible outcome, but still not what I was hoping for. (And phooey on them for still only having the two boring Ryuusei commercials on youtube! I want some actual clips! The show starts airing in less than a month, you've got to have at least SOME footage by now.)
This brings Arashi's count for the year to: four singles (with five major songs!) and one album (with solo songs!), not to mention three TV shows running simultaneously (that I know of), hosting 24-hour terebi, at least one concert tour and accompanying DVD (again, that I know of), as well as all the members' various solo projects (Sho's newscastering, Aiba's variety shows, Ohno's art show/book AND his drama [edit: AND his stageplays, thanks for reminding me ^^; ], Nino's drama, Jun's TWO movies, and so on).
GOOD YEAR TO BE AN ARASHI FAN.
Also, according to the Wikipedia article, there may be a Last Friends movie in the works (WTF how can there be a movie? Can't find anything about this on the official website or DramaWiki, though.) Also supposedly a manga about Ruka and Michiru when they were in high school (how much would I love it if it showed Michiru having a history of picking guys who are bad for her? It would just fit so well with the family history they set up for her in the show. I can't find any of the supposed manga on amazon, but I did find this, which I am kind of ashamed to admit I really want >.>;; I saw those for sale in Harajuku and I didn't get one! Argh.)
