Oh, House. I am so happy to have you back. I missed you, please don't ever leave me for that long again. My GOD the summer is going to be a serious burn this year, isn't it?
BUT I DON'T HAVE LONG. Dizzy went to bed and I can afford to laze around in bed for a whole 13 more minutes, so. Have brief bullet points. You'll obvs wanna skip if you didn't see it yet.
• The case. I really liked it, it was nice to have a heavy case again. And GOD, that poor kid. What a horribly traumatised child he is going to be. Though I imagine now all is shiny and well again, he will get over the whole ordeal. LOVED the scene with the wife in House's office. Can you even IMAGINE, asking a doctor to stabilise your husband so you can take him home and let him kill himself? Admitting that he'd be better off dead than in his current state? God.
• HOUSE AND HIS PIPES. Lol so pointless but idec. It brought necessary funny and gratuitous shots of House in the bath and having water pour down onto him from his ceiling. And that was hot. So I'm really in no position to question this storyline. I did say to Dizzy that I'd have preferred more development on the ~pain~ issue, but really. It's been 5 years, we know the deal, it's all been done, it would have no doubt been incredibly heavy handed had they touched on it more. So I'm happy.
• OH HI, RACHEL CUDDY (incidentally, I totes know someone by that name IRL. I am excited. We're kind of related and everything). I am liking how you fit. I think Cuddy is doing a brilliant job of balancing motherhood and work, all things considered. Look how fierce she was with her medical arguments. I kind of wonder if this will ultimately make her a lot stronger and less willing to take shit from House. Great for the job and also probably for their personal relationship. Win-win-win. AND THE HOME VISIT. I CANNOT EVEN. MY HEART SOARS WITH THE EAGLES NEST, YOU GUYS. IT MADE ME SO INSANELY ECSTATIC.
• WILSON I CONTINUE TO LOVE YOU UNCONDITIONALLY. YOU BROUGHT RACHEL A GIANT YELLOW DUCK. And got an adorable haircut and as Dizzy pointed out, you were Cuddy's Cuddy :D I love you, Wilson. I want more of you.

• Umm. The fucking desk. She kept it. And we saw House sitting on it. And stroking it and looking all nostalgic while he waited for her and they so totally fucked on that desk in college, dude. Or maybe it just reminds him of when they met and how she was then and the ambition and drive. Maybe he just sees some of the things he loves about her in that desk, some of the things that first got him to notice her. Maybe it's all of that. I don't know or care, I loved that moment, I love that fucking desk.
• I looooved the brief House/Cuddy. They're settling into a really good place and the chemistry is just right and IDEK, I LOVE THE BALANCE AND I HAVE LIKE 2 MINUTES SO I CAN'T REALLY GO INTO IT. I can't articulate it anyway, so.
