Merry Christmas to one and all. Assuming your Christmas isn't very easily destroyed like two old women who insisted I had ruined Christmas and that I was a disgrace for walking in front of the television briefly on my way to see my grandmother. I could still hear them raging about it as I left. It was like experiencing the living embodiment of the Daily Mail. A strangely beautiful experience.

I also sat down to the Christmas news to find that someone I went to school with has just been jailed for embezzlement. I had recently been thinking upon on people's trustworthiness too, and whether it's better to be trusting or untrusting in this world. Luckily I have access to a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, and I am fully taking advantage of that facility.

The new year is also coming up, and I find that I don't want to make any new year's resolutions. There's the fact that there's nothing in particular I really want to change (that isn't changing anyway), but more importantly there's the fact that I've had enough of feeling guilty, and new year's resolutions are the ultimate form of self-imposed guilt. I think if anything my new year's resolutions are going to be Have a groovy time and Don't forget to sort out your taxes before April. T'sch. ...Taxes. Yes, that'll do it.
