I heard some upsetting news today and... I just don't really know how to deal with that right now. So let's focus on happy things instead, I suppose.. maybe I'll feel like talking about that later.
Now these sound like a really good idea!
It is, perhaps, a little early to be worried about it - I'm not even pregnant - but I had thought some before about how disposable diapers are made of icky materials and fill up landfills, but cloth diapers are a pain, run up your water bill, and most daycares won't use them. We're definitely going to need childcare, so I've been checking out alternatives, when someone suggested gDiapers. Check out the web site - they are actually really cool! They might just be the perfect middle ground between disposable and cloth.
Also, Monday is our first wedding anniversary! I think we're going to see Arsenic and Old Lace at Screen on the Green. This weekend we're supposed to do a sightseeing cruise of Alexandria. Nothing extravagant, but it'll be fun and new and romantic, and that's perfect to me.
