Why does NYC have to be so damn expensive? It makes me sadface all over the place. I'd really like to go, so I am carefully planning a budget and trying to see how much money I'd need, and even for an overnight stay it's amazing. I admit that mainly I would like to visit for the museums, (Natural History Museum and the Met) so it's a bit less costly than me deciding to go for the shopping, but Christ. Anyway, that's me.
Anyway, today's going to be fun, in the sarcastic sense of the word. The boss went somewhere and left the assistant directors in charge, and one of them is a really high-strung, snappy woman with blood pressure issues. Every time the director is out, she gets super tense and starts biting people's heads off for no damn reason. I am, for once, really glad that the school-aged classroom is all the way in the back of the school and none of the teachers bother to visit unless they're asking me how many kids I have. (So they can shove some of the more rotten kindergarteners my way.)
I was planning to watch the newest season of Doctor Who once it rolled to a stop, but I am hearing some really mixed reviews on it. Is it worth it to watch, or should I retain my more sparkly memories of the previous season and steer clear? I mean, on the pro side there's a lot of River, but on the con side, apparently they screwed it up big time, and Amy's being a pregnant damsel now? Guh.
