I miss being an anime geek. I miss hanging out in the anime aisles in Suncoast, when we had a Suncoast, looking through the VHS series and trying to figure out which I wanted to buy next. I miss buying DVDs online, regular and fansubbed in Hong Kong, and watching through some subpar subtitles and loving everything despite that. I miss dressing up in anime conventions and feeling really into everything from the cosplay down to the pocky vendors. Hell, I miss getting excited over conventions and the possibility of finding new anime there. Somewhere along the line, I fell out of anime and I really would like to edge back in. I don't remember the last series I watched and enjoyed.
