i moved ahead, thinking you'd be there

My sister is continuing the trend of punishing me for our fights by using the baby. She says I am no longer allowed to touch my nephew. I doubt this will last long, because sooner or later she'll have an English paper she'll need me to help her with or a party she needs me to drive her to or some other favor that my parents won't do for her, but I'm really aggravated at her hostility towards me that seems to have deepened during and after her pregnancy. She doesn't have this issue with anyone else, but she seems to dislike the idea of me being close to her child.

aflightoffancy and I went to a craft festival today, and that was pretty fun. The crafts seemed to be mainly pottery, jewelry, and paintings/pictures, with the occasional bits of clothing thrown in. They had a pina colada stand selling drinks in elaborate coconut shells, which were cool but too pricey for what they were. I went on a spree, really, but I tend to buy handmade things more. Loot from the festival includes a really pretty watercolor for my mom that reads: 'you are my sunshine', three soaps that look like gemstones (fire opal, white opal, and moonstone) as a birthday present, raspberry-fudge dessert sauce, a really gorgeous dress, and Tae Kwan Do lessons. Yes, I finally signed up for some.

Meanwhile, does anyone know of novels that are about lesbian relationships? Points if the novels aren't sci-fi/fantasy, and even more if they have an involved plot.
