Holy shit is's Friday!
Advent even! I honestly don't know where the week went! I have to work tomorrow, boo work, yay overtime and then have to book it to Nashville. I need to sit down and look at the weekends I spend away and home and start organizing my time. I hate it when I don't get anything done and have NO and I mean ZERO sense of accomplishment for the week. Well I did manage to get a couple things handled on my Dell account. Filthy bloodsucking leaches! NEVER and I mean NEVER buy anything on credit from DELL. My due date has moved all friggin over the first two weeks of the month...all by itself, cause I never asked it to. I mail a check FOURTEEN days ahead of time and they post it ONE day after the due date. BOOM! The world changes. Can you say living in the world of 29.99% interest? It's robbery! Plain, simple robbery. I was supposed to get a $300 rebate, never got that, no documents came with the machine OR the printer shipped two weeks later and repeated requests have yielded nothing. Back in September they claim I responded to an ad for a digital camera and applied for some sort of HOTLINE comprehensive credit card insurance that covers all my cards. Thing is, I have paid my account thru Checkfree since JUNE 2005. How did they get my info? Did someone get a camera on me? I couldn't understand the little twit on the phone enough to understand what exactly happened but she removed the current month's charge and gave me the address to write and get it removed altogether and get the other month's credited as well. I mean, I didn't even notice it was there until last month when I realized my 60 a month payment wasn't reducing the balance. Why heck no with 8.99 and 13.19 added to my balance every montb! I cancel the credit protect that I DID order as well. The refund on the first one will be about 80.00. I'm not in danger of losing my job and paying down that balance is more important right now. I'm just pissed it took me this long to actually LOOK at my bill. When you set something up for autopay, you STILL should check the statements to make sure your payments are applied. I found a late fee on one of my other accounts that has to come off. They recieved TWO payments one month and sent me a zero statement for the bill, I paid anyway, so where did the late fee come from? Fucking crooks! I am smacking my forehead for being so stupid.
I really don't know where the week went. Robb left for Michigan again this morning, dammit. They're talking about sending him to Japan. I am NOT going to Japan where women like me are considered exotic. Nothing to do all day and since I'd have to take upaid leave to be gone for six weeks, I'd have no money. Yeah, sounds like my idea of fun. I'd be kidnapped and sold into white slavery or some shit. Nope, I will stay home thanks. I'll miss you baby, but I'm staying my butt here. Now if they wanna send him to Europe, that's a different story. Still, my limit would be two weeks away from home going anywhere. The animals would think we'd deserted them. Not to mention, a nineteen year old...dad's in Japan, Lynda's in Japan, PAAAAAARRRRTTTYYYY!!!! I can just imagine what my house would look like when I got back, no thanks. I could be an expedia.com ad with the thoughts running through my head.
This Mercury retrograde is kicking my ass. One minute I am ready to kill something and the next minute I want to cry. I'm so full of shit right now, I think I could power my own methane plant if I could just GET IT OUT!!!! I think the Valentine candy I ate last month has set up a yeast shop in my colon. I've been a baaddd girl.
I made Lasagna last weekend for Robb's birthday. Hehe, my evil plan worked. See I pretend I don't know how to cook small amounts, so I have leftovers to freeze. HA! Free lunches and dinners. Honestly, I'd rather cook all day one day of the week and freeze stuff and eat well the rest of the week from the microwave.
My daughter called, my grandson can say his entire name, Devin Alexander Calhoun...but it sounds like Debin, aallasannner callhewwwn. That child is only two and he's smarter than his mother. Did I mention he walked and RAN the same day? Amanda (the daughter) says he's been running ever since.
To him, I am Ninna, sort of half Nanna for grandma and half Lynda my name. Okay, must stop now, tearing up. I miss them so much.
Got to finish up some work and get stuff together for the road trip tomorrow. I will leave straight from work. Let's just hope this isn't like every other Mercury retrograde he's been gone. Something always happens to one of the cars or something weird happens, you watch. I'll report back in a while.
