a listish type thing of the happenings of my life...and other such brilliant and amazing (though not a series and by no means unfortunate) events....listed here in no particular order.
as of august 27th manhattanville college will be my home.
this week i spent some quality time with the friends: saturday kayleigh and movies galore. monday the great patrick for brunch and talk. wednesday movie night with kate, jill, shana, leila, pat, and alex, then a fab five partaaaay with lots of food, jokes, and...just us. also rent. thursday crazy fun times with alex all over the town shooting our tv ad, then going to his place and editing and starting the music. 30 seconds is not fair. we should have at least nine minutes. :) friday mom and i left at 4:00 am for manhattanville. i fell in love with the campus and the people. the facilities aren't anything special...but the people there make of for it by a long shot. they are the coolest group. period. i audited a music theory class and got the answer right when dr. b surprised everyone by calling on me. yikes! i also watched a tap dancing class (so so so cool...definitely what i'll do if i take dance) and a writing class. jess, my host, was very very chill along her whole group of friends. we got up to all kinds of mischief, and i have been ordered to attend manhattanville so that i can hang out with them more. ;) saturday was a lot of little talks about the different programs and...stuff, then mom and i drove home. today church and then hanging out with alex to write the music and finish the video.
good vacation. good week coming up with fiddler rehearsals and other stuff.
plus...one week and then the boy will be back in town. kennebunk had better watch out!!
