What: Cloud comes to have a meeting with Reeve (because they haven’t talked to each other face-to-face yet)
Cloud could count the number of times that he had been to Reeve’s office on one hand. He never really liked coming into the big WRO building for anything more than deliveries, mostly because it was such a busy place. He would also find himself embarrassed if he somehow managed to get himself lost in the waves of people running around on the various floors.
Scratching the back of his head, he glanced to the secretary. He was maybe a few minutes early, but his sense of direction within buildings was a little off since Sephiroth had chased him through the ShinRa one the day before. It was thankfully just a few elevators and special key passes to get up here. He hadn’t really wanted to jump the building and come down the stairs.
He glanced to his left hand and clenched his fingers over the mark that lay under his glove. He was having second thoughts, but how many times was he going to hide things? Barret already knew and so did Tifa. He was still working up his courage for everyone else to find out that he was once again being pulled down by his foggy past.
