My head canon is that the Healers took him away, no doubt to be raised somewhere else.

It felt like it wanted to be sad and long and incredibly detailed, so I quickly drabbled and closed the document. :P

Posting it was a relief; it's been sitting in a folder for a long time, and I hate leaving things unposted (but it seemed too sad to post when I wrote it; actually, I delete loads of fic for similar reasons).
