I'm dying here. I really want to be in school next semester but as of yet I don't have the cash. Which yes I can be blamed for that but I know I have money in the terms of 5,000 coming to me and I want to know where it is! I have put my life off long enough. Thank you! My former Art History Professor actually reassures me every time I think about it. She doesn't actually reassure me as she's retired but she didn't even go to college until she was in her mid thirties after being married and having a couple little boys. So really you are right it's never too late to go back, it just feels like society is pressuring/judging you to do everything by a certain time.

I am actively choosing to rent books even if I'd like to keep them because I just don't have the money to spend on them. Ugh loans I had someone tell me their daughter had 60,000 in loan debt but she'd pay it off in 5 years..yeah because her career choice can afford her that money. Me? I'd prefer to teach at a community college..so yeah doubtful!

Ty! I actually love night classes because of the amount of adults, day classes just seem so high school with all the young-ins.

I know that you are so strong willed/minded that you'll do anything you put your mind to. I know you can do this! *hugs*

I would definitely see when the tuition is due and if it isn't due until after you get your money, I would go ahead and register for classes and then pay with the money when you are given it. That way all the good classes aren't filled by then! I hate it when everyone grabs the best ones before I have a chance to get them!
