Welcome to Sneezetown.

I've spent the last day and a half cleaning my room top-to-bottom, removing cobwebs, chucking out things that I've been keeping 'just in case', tossing out old acrylic yarn and half-finished projects that I started back when I was just starting to branch out and so are therefore kind of terrible. I've not spent this much time sneezing in quite a while. Also I have not seen that many dead ants ever.

What's disheartening is that despite the fact I've been dusting and cleaning for a day and a half, I can still see a thin layer of dust over everything. I don't think it will ever go away :/.

Anyway. In the process of cleaning I've discovered some things. I found all of my hairsticks! Two of them were under my bed (I've cleaned them of the cobwebs and dead ants) and the third one was under a table in the living area, of all places.

I've also found all my old pairs of glasses. I'm wondering what to do with them. I can't wear them anymore, considering my eyes have changed so much, but at the same time I do have a certain fondness for them. They were my constant companions for years until I ditched them for newer models. Obviously I'm keeping my last two pairs, because while one pair is broken, they're still the closest to my current prescription so I can use them in a pinch.

I've also sorted out my comics (though only about half are bagged, and I've discovered that I'm missing issues of certain titles. Soon I'll catelogue them and go rifling through the backissues at work. I also cleaned all my bookshelves and sorted my books into ones I'll definitely keep, ones for charity, and ones I'm undecided on. Also there is a pile of things that people have lent me, both books and DVDs and books and movies that I have not read or seen yet. I hope that because these piles are rather large I will withhold from buying any new literature or dvds until I've at least made a dent in them.

Also I am not going to buy any more yarn until my stash box is able to close without my stereo pushing it down. S'cool. I have heaps of projects in mind for the stuff I have. I don't think I'll suffer too badly. I just need to stay away from sales ;).

Next week if I get the time I will attack my wardrobe. Not only is it in no semblance of order at all, but I can barely fit all my clothes in there (I still have two loads of washing to fit in there. I have no idea how I'm gonna do it, but lets have the adventure together.

I like my productive Mondays off. While its nice to have a little bit extra cash if I work them, at least this way I start to feel like I'm getting things done.
