Kenneth Copeland just said, "Don't vote based on what the candidates say or don't say - vote based on what GOD tells you to vote" (Not exact quote, because I couldn't get it typed soon enough to get word-for-word)
We know God's going to tell different people different things. "God told me to vote for Obama!" "God commanded me to vote for Palin!" (yes, I know McCain is the pres. candidate, but seriously...)
If God's telling me how to vote, he's apparently telling me NOT to vote, when the "world" is telling me TO vote. Seriously, I'm getting no desires to vote for either candidate. I DO plan on voting on a few bills, though. I wish I could vote on gay marriage, but I'm not seeing that as an option here. I read about Proposition 8, but I guess that's just in California. Bummer. I really don't believe government should get to decide who gets to marry. Marriage is a religious thing. If two people want to commit to a single partner for the rest of their lives and share all their assets and make medical decisions for each other ----- let them, no matter what gender they are. It's not going to hurt anybody.
