BOOBS

Just a short list.

- I have torpedo boobs.  My milk came in the day we were leaving the hospital. Nipples are doing ok. Haven't had any bleeding yet, but wow I can see how some Mom's just don't continue to breastfeed when they get so sensitive and latch can be such a challenge.

- I desperately need nursing wear. Shirts, bras and nursing friendly outerwear. Any suggestions from Mom's out there where to shop and what you like?

- Ashur has an INTENSE need to suckle. He was born with a fever blister on his right wrist and was starting one on the left, resulting from where he sucked whilst waiting to be born. I fear nipple confusion (although the boy brought my milk in in less than 48 hours with his jaws of steel and 30 minute marathon sucking sessions, so I don't think he'd turn away anything at this point) in introducing a pacifier, but sometimes I just CAN'T take him latched on again after just having fed him 15 minutes ago. This isn't cluster feeding either, this is just comfort. We have had a few sessions of cluster feeding and boy howdy can this boy pack back the boob juice.   However my milk production is so good, he often ends up dribbling out everything he eats from just suckling because he'll get a mouthful and fall asleep. I want to discourage the use of his wrist, fingers and arm, and still want him to feel comforted if he needs it. Any suggestions?

Ok, that's it for now. Back to take a nap.
