i feel pretty
almost done with my black and white bustle! i finished beading it today, and tomorrow will begin sewing the fringe on. i tried to take pictures but my phone was almost dead so it wouldn't load the camera. this whole sewing during my jock meteorology lecture has been wildly productive. i've worked on the bustle, made a skirt, put zippers in several articles of clothing. wow. i'm awesome.
oh. well, i guess i'm not quite almost done because i haven't sewn the hooks and eyes on, and i don't have any either. maybe i'll just use snaps, since i have many in my sewing kit. it's at least something to contemplate. and i have to distress my buckle. i'm not entirely wed to the idea, but i was planning to do it, so i think i might try it on the other bustle i have and see how it looks, then decide.
i'm drawing out a new, secret project that i'm really excited about. it will take me friggin' forever to make, but it's pretty special to me, so i'm really looking forward to making it.
