The Doctor was buried up to his knees.
*Snip* *Snip* *Snip*
It was, possibly, the worst act of barbarism Peri had yet seen.
“Stop! Oh, please, do stop!”
Unbelievably, there was silence. Then-.
“Why Peri, what on earth’s the matter with you?”
“I come in here and find you... Like this... And-”
*SNIP*
“Just trying to be useful. Laundry! I thought, that’s the place to start.”
“And shredding your clothes?
“I’m not entirely incompetent you know, I did read the label-”
He obviously had, it was right there, balanced on his knee.
“-and it quite distinctly says, 'Keep colours separate'.”
