I'm watching Dragon Zakura now. It stars a great actor (he plays the main character well, that's for sure) as well as Saeko, who was also in Nodame. ^_^ (Remember the contrabass girl?) ... is what I would say if the Nodame drama was an orchestra performance. Well, I suppose it is, in a way. The ending is more smooth than the one in the anime, which seemed cut short. I hadn't known that orchestral performances can be this moving. Then again, most real conductors probably don't do what Chiaki did.

Based on recommendations, I decided to give the Nodame Cantabile J-drama a try. After having watched the anime not too long ago, the scenes in the first ep were pretty much the same.
