the old woman Hecate

sitting here in my dark space of time my mind drifted to a far off place ... i began walking down the road and the more i walked down the road the darker it got. and as i was walking i noticed i was in the woods i could hear the treew creeking and i hear the sounds of animal scurriying around i heard the owl ho0ting and the raven talking. he told me to keep walking on the path i am going anf not to be afraid. so i kept on my path and i came to a place where three roads converged. in the center of the crossroads an old old woman stood. clutching onto her staff with her crooked hands. they were calloused and yet lo0ked incredibly soft. her skin was wrinkly and somewhat pale but it was hard to tell becasue it was so0 dark. she lifted upher head and pulled the hood down from her cloak and h=revealed her long shiney silver hair. i smelled lavender flowers as i drew closer to her. there must have been some tucked into her hair. her face was beautiful and she had a clightly crooked smile that told a tale of grace and sadness. her eyes were full and twinkled a bit, they were dark with a silvery lining deep inside of them like gazing into a lake on a full moons night. she greeted me. and put out her hand and i recieved her. her hands were smooth and soft they were gnarled like she had eon's of hard labor and work but where amazingly soft. they were cold but not ice. she spoke to me in a voice that was so0 familiiar. it crackled a bit from time to time. "thomas my child... you have been seeking the wisdom of the night... the dark ... the shadow for sometime but you have been afraid of its power." the words she was speaking were so0 right on its liek she can read my heart. this powerful old woman knew. so i nodded my head. "but now i see you are ready to learn the mysteries... you are now read to begin your healing ... it is allright everything is going to be just fine dont you worry... the troubles you are now facing are as small as a grain of sand and you are as tall as a mountain." she paused and looked as if she was waiting me to ask her something... i spoke to her "old crone you know my heart... and you know my name... you are wise and very familliar to me as if i have met you in some far off place in a time long before this ... but sadly i do not know your name" she responded " thomas my dear I am Hecate, and i am your great~grandmother" she crooked a smile that woudl warm the heart of a cold man. "i have something for you" she went deep into her cloak made of the void of the universe and removed a small box which she opened with her bent fingers. as she opened it the contents began to glow a brilliant light. but it was not a light like the sun nor the light of a candle its was a dark light ... and she pulled a necklace from her box, and she placed it around my neck. she said "my child i bring you the gift of a shadow star. i have made this just for you and it contains all the powers of the darkness its power is great and in time you will learn how to use it. it will serve you well and will be teach you many things." she touched it and it started to glow even brighter. she looked me in the eye "BlEssEd BE" and kissed me on the forehead and told me it was time for me to go. she also told me the road is verly long and in places it will be very treacherous BUT to trust myself and to use the dark star as a guide and she also told me that if i ever need her for anything to just come to this sacred place, rub the star and call her name and she will be there. as i walked down the road i noticed the road i came from had a sign that read PAST ... and the road she guided me down said FUTURE. hmm. as i walked down the road the star around my neck got really hott and i noticed it start to fade away ... but it was not fading into non existence it was fading into my heart my own being. how amazing. suddenly i dont feel so overwhelmed. and for the first time in weeks days i feel ok and everything will be just fine no matter what happens.
