I slid to school today
Ok I haven't posted in a while... but lets talk about how well my day was going as of 9:30 this morning. I woke up at 7 to check if school was delayed any due to the mass amout of ice we were supposed to get. Its not. My class yesterday at 3:30 was canceled by the teacher because it was already starting to ice but for some reason school was open. So I shower and get dressed and everything. I head outside and good lord... there is about 3/8 of an inch of ice on EVERYTHING. I started walking up the sidewalk, as I slipped every half a step. So since I was having shitty luck there I moved over on the snow, hoping I'd break through it and it'd be easier to walk. And wouldn't ya know it... it was even fucking harder to walk over there. I flailed like a jackass trying to lift my foot up without falling. So I manage to get most of the way up the sidewalk when the fucking buss passes me. Well son of a bitch... So then I decide I'll get my umbella since I had 10 minutes till the next bus. ... I was able to slide back down the hill, doing little more than lifting my feet a little so i could go over the seems in the sidewalk. I almost break my neck getting to my car, break through the blanket of ice on it and get my umbrella. Then I notice there is a car in the middle of the lot. This firebird had so much trouble getting into a spot the owner just left it in the middle of the lot. I make my way back to the bus stop with great difficulty, just to realize i forgot my ID. No problems thoug cause the bus driver wasnt checking them. Get to class, find out its canceled. FUCKING GREAT! Luckily the bus is pulling up to the stop just as I'm getting there. And when I do the dude wants to hassle me about my ID. You stupid FUCKER! I'm on campus, at 8 AM with a backpack, when everything is covered in ICE! OF COURSE IM A FUCKING STUDENT! So yeah I make it home, find out another one of my classes is canceled, so that was cool.
