oh, sweet relief

k, one quick thing before i go to bed..

so.. I was talking to a friend of mine.. and he's a cool guy, i'd trust his judgement or advice, anything of that nature. he said something that kinda bothered me.. he basically admitted that him and his friends had come to the conclusion that girls were just not funny. that they just don't have great senses of humor. .. he admitted that i was cool because i was funny.. although, this was a nice gesture.. i found it overall, offensive. I do understand a part of what he's saying.. some girls don't have the greatest senses of humor, but neither do some guys. I realize in most instances- a form of intelligence must be present for some humor. I know plenty of comedic gals. Some people might mistake girls acting out in "weird" behavior as funny.. sometimes maybe it is- and i'm sure i've been guilty of it at times.. often times it's just annoying and not funny.. but I guess it just kinda threw me off that he said that.

a part of me does overidolize males.. so if anyone would care to share their opinion, I'd be interested in knowing whether you think there is a "funnier" sex
