Lo, where there is hope there is life!

Heh, well my knitting workshops may not have been accepted by the Prophecy Formal programming committee, but the Informal Programming committee loves the idea. So right now I'm confirming how long the sessions are going to be, etc. So, I'll still likely need volunteers for the actual sessions if anyone's going to be free in the evenings. Right now it looks like 5pm Thursday and Friday evening (Aug. 2 and 3) for the Beginner workshop.

I'm also looking to borrow knit items people have made so I can show them to the participants. I'm happy to receive them ahead of time in the mail and then mail them back after Prophecy is over.

And now that I'm thinking about it, I'm thinking of announcing a trip to Lettuce Knits Romni Wools (it's marginally closer to the hotel) for the Thursday. My rationale is that not everyone will be able to get their yarn and needles ahead of time, and I really don't want to sell kits for this. This way at least some people would have the chance of picking up supplies there, and get an impromptu lesson in fiber properties too. I have to look into the schedule a bit harder and see where I need to be for the Gallery stuff, but I think it's a strong possibility.

Suddenly, I'm really busy! XD
