My knitting proposals to Prophecy were not accepted by the programming committee. Many thanks to everyone who offered to be hands-on tutors during the session.

The Art & Gallery craft session is still on, however, and I'm organizing that and will still need volunteers to help out. There will not be a knitting component to it because it won't fit into the schedule. It's more a cutting shapes out and gluing things together sort of thing.

If anyone is interested in staking out a corner of the Common Room (informally and purely through squatters rights) for a sort of floating Stitch n' Bitch, I'm all for it. Not just knitting, either, but anyone with something portable they'd like to work on.

I'm also still interested in setting up a yarn crawl and perhaps a visit to the textile museum, maybe for the day after Prophecy closes. I'd do it for before, except there's a lot of Gallery stuff to do before Prophecy opens.

So, any interest/opinions? 3.5 months to go!
