I dare you.

Define for me, "beauty" in just three words.

I can't. But what I've found is: A man universally wants beauty, and a woman universally wants to be beauty. (loosely gathered from life's lessons, observations and reading Eldredge) I've yet to find a case that this does not apply ( Read more... )

As you know, the beauty that most guys seek and that most girls wish to attain is fleeting. The definition of true beauty is found in the Lord.

I know, it's so hard to understand; it's so mysterious. I have trouble with this myself. I cannot define it in three words.

I encourage you to seek a beauty to represent yourself by as well. Beauty isn't solely a female characteristic; I believe that girls seek it in guys as well, but in a totally different [better] way that guys do in girls. [And that's why girls are better.]

Sorry, I kind of just ruined it. But I highly respect your search and desire for what is true; you are rare. And beautiful.

beauty: god's perfect design.

how's that?

as far as girls go, eldredge is right. i think that maybe it is when a woman realizes she is beautiful that she really becomes it. when she realizes she is already what she has been striving to be, she exudes god's own beauty. it isn't just men that are made in god's image. they are god's might and strength, we are god's grace and beauty.

or at least, thats how it should be.

i'm glad youre writing again and now we're lj friends.
